CLB Thành phố Đồng Nai officially joins V-League 2026-2027 season after winning the national First Division title. This is an important step in the journey of the club from the name linked to sponsor Trường Tươi Đồng Nai to a new name with clearer identity of Thành phố Đồng Nai. The name and logo change has been approved by the Vietnam Football Federation Executive Committee on September 3, 2026, just a few days before the new season. Their opening match will be a challenging clash with Thể Công - Viettel, the V-League runner-up.
